An International Model for a U.S. Context
After more than 10 years of making disciples and planting churches around the world, The Timothy Initiative has seen millions of people find hope in Jesus Christ. Building on this foundation and our dedication to the advancement of God’s Kingdom to the ends of the earth, we are bringing this model to the United States to launch a disciple making movement. While many in the United States have a passing familiarity with Jesus or evangelical Christianity, there are still so many who have yet to hear a clear presentation of the Gospel.
Recent studies on the religious landscape of America also show a startling trend that should fill the disciple of Jesus with a sense of urgency: More and more people are beginning to turn away from faith and religion at an increased rate. This is especially true of younger generations of Americans who are more likely to identify as “unaffiliated” when it comes to faith and/or religious affiliation.
Before He ascended into heaven, Jesus told His disciples in the Great Commission, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
Your neighbors, co-workers, and the people who live in your community need to hear how Jesus has changed your life. Will you answer Christ’s call to make disciples?

The Timothy Initiative has been making disciples and planting churches around the world since 2007. Partnering with local leaders and church planters, we have seen God’s faithfulness and had the opportunity to join in His work among many Unreached People Groups.
